My Life at a Glance
I'm Robert Howard, an Electrical Engineering student at ASU Fulton in Tempe. I love designing and building products that work, and I have always been fascinated by how tiny components come together to build massive, complex systems. I am the middle child and have three siblings: my two sisters, Dagny and Genny (who also go to ASU), and my little brother Tommy.
For high school, I went to a small public school in downtown Phoenix called Phoenix Coding Academy, which focused heavily on hands-on technology and innovation. I also ran varsity track and cross country. Because my school was so small, I competed for the next closest school, Central High School. Running is one of my biggest passions, and I specialized in the 800m, 3200m, and 5K.
When I'm not working on my engineering homework or running, I spend most of my free time outside working on my 1991 Pontiac Sunbird. It's my first car, which I saved up for over two summers of working out in the hot sun as a lifeguard. The cool part about it is that it has only 35k miles, making it a practically brand-new, almost 40-year-old car.
